Credit growth was 13.5% YTD as at Dec 27, 23. Credit growth jumped by 6.6% in 4Q23, equivalent to 96% of total credit growth in 9M23. Despite this back-ended growth impulse, net interest income should be the key earnings growth driver for the banks in 2024.
