HDB_1Q23 Analyst Meeting

HDB posted 1Q23 PATMI of VND2.1 tn (+20% QoQ/+9% YoY), fulfilling 21% of the bank’s full-year target and 22% of our forecast. The QoQ increase was largely due to lower operating cost, while the YoY increase was driven by stronger net-II and net fee income.
