Weekly Wrap: Time for a short-term pause?
The VNI climbed another 2.6% WoW, exceeding the 900-point level for the first time since February 25 and remaining above its 200-day moving average for the second week in a row. Average daily turnover was down 5% WoW but still quite strong at US$327m. Breadth was positive among the VN30 large caps (22 gainers vs 8 losers) but slightly negative among the broader VNI constituents (156 up vs 195 down).
