HDB’s 3Q24 Analyst Meeting Takeaways

HDB’s 9M24 PBT fulfilled 75% of our 2024E forecast and 79% of the bank’s full-year initial target.  With the 9M24 result, HDB anticipates its 2024E PBT to increase by +25% YoY, up from the intial expectation of 23% YoY. For 2025, HDB expects its PBT to reach about VND20.0 tn, slightly below our 2025E forecast of VND20.7 tn (+23% YoY).
