MBB_2Q23 Results highlights

MBB reported 2Q23 PATMI of VND4.9 tn (-3% QoQ/+6% YoY). The YoY increase was driven by higher net interest income and lower provisioning. 1H23 PATMI increased slightly by +8% YoY to reach VND9.9 tn, which completed 49% of the bank’s full-year target and 47% of our forecast.
