Vietnam stocks cratered last week to substantially underperform what were generally weak regional and global markets following a major domestic resurgence of community-transmitted COVID-19. Although the market rebounded on Friday, the VNI’s TTM PE multiple of 16.3x is now just 16% above its historical mean and offers solid value, especially relative to global valuations, in our view.
